VALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF CIPIMM’S SCIENTIFIC PATRIMONY VALORACIÓN DEL IMPACTO DEL PATRIMONIO CIENTÍFICO DEL CIPIMM Salgado Machín, Ismari Bibliometry metric studies scientific patrimony knowledge management Bibliometría estudios métricos patrimonio científico gestión del conocimiento The present work has as objective to value the impact of the scientific Patrimony of the CIPIMM and its presage up to the 2015, by means of an exploratory analysis of its scientific production. The investigation contemplates: documental scientific patrimony, scientific publications, and scientific works resulting of the investigations (inform of projects executed by the institution) and other, with the purpose of measuring the social-economic, scientific and technological impact that has had for the science and the society through the evaluation of their results. For it were used metric methods with scientific and bibliographical, qualitative and quantitative indicative, among those that are mentioned: characteristic of the scientific production, results of the programs and projects scientific-technicians, thematic lines with bigger covering and impact and analysis of authors' co-occurrence that it pursues the visualization and identification in front of disciplinary investigation, starting from the most productive authors. The main results reveal that the Scientific Patrimony of the CIPIMM constitutes the legacy of more importance and it influences in the evolution, development and sustainability of the entity (2650 reports and 429 scientific publications of them 74 patents), its study and analysis allow to determine the socio-economic, scientific and technological impact that has had and it plans to have for the development of the economy, the society, the environment and the Cuban science, once the scientific publications, specifically INFOMIN, is the road of visibility and impact of the Cuban science through the diffusion and validation of the investigative results. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo valorar el impacto del Patrimonio científico del CIPIMM y su pronóstico hasta el 2015, mediante un análisis exploratorio de su producción científica. La investigación contempla: patrimonio científico documental, publicaciones científicas, y obras científicas resultantes de las investigaciones (informes de proyectos ejecutados por la institución) y otros, con el fin de medir el impacto socio-económico, científico y tecnológico que ha tenido para la ciencia y la sociedad a través de la evaluación de sus resultados. Para ello se utilizaron métodos métricos con indicadores cienciométricos, bibliométricos, cualitativos y cuantitativos, entre los que se mencionan: características de la producción científica, resultados de de los programas y proyectos científico-técnicos, líneas temáticas con mayor cobertura e impacto y análisis de coocurrencia de autores, que persigue la visualización e identificación de frentes de investigación disciplinarios, a partir de los autores más productivos. Los principales resultados revelan que el Patrimonio Científico del CIPIMM constituye el legado de mayor importancia e influencia en la evolución, desarrollo y sostenibilidad de la entidad (2650 informes y 429 publicaciones científicas de ellas 74 patentes), su estudio y análisis permite determinar el impacto socioeconómico, científico y tecnológico que ha tenido y proyecta tener para el desarrollo de la economía, la sociedad, el medioambiente y la ciencia cubana, una vez que las publicaciones científicas, específicamente NFOMIN, son la vía de visibilidad e impacto de la ciencia cubana a través de la difusión y validación de los resultados investigativos.
