NEW PROCEDURE FOR SAMPLING OF CUBAN DORE
Main Article Content
Abstract
It is intends a new procedure for the sampling dore obtained of the laundry during the technological process of foundry of cements, concentrated of gold and electrolytic muds. The same one consists on taking secondary samples of each dore produced by any of the three following methods in falling order of representativeness: Immersion Method, Combined method Drilled /Immersion (for agreement among the parts), Drilled Method (for agreement among the parts). The immersion method consists on taking a sample with a graphite tablespoon during the laundry, which spills quickly in a recipient designed for this end and full with water. The obtained very small size granules are separated for decantation, they warm to eliminate the remains of humidity and they are homogenized and they are quarter manual or mechanically until obtaining a sample of rehearsal of 100g, which is divided in four portions dedicated for the producer, the client, the referee and another portion that stays as witness of the process. The following two methods should be used only when agreed between the contracting parties, as it is known internationally that the samples obtained by drilling are less representative than those obtained from a melt. In spite of this difficulty, in the work it is defined the form and the most appropriate conditions in those that should be carried out. The economic and scientific advantages of this new sampling procedure are reported as well as their repercussion in the gold miner - metallurgical industry. This new variant of having drilled was recently approved by consent as Cuban Norm for the Technical Committee of Normalization NC CTN 101" Mining and Minerals" attributed to the National Office of Normalization of the Cuban Republic.
