PRELIMINARY TENDENCY STUDY ON MINERAL PLATINOIDES

Abstract
The work is a preliminary study to come closer to the topic of mineral platinoides, the term "metals of the platinum group” (MPG) it designates the six platinoides like rutenio, rhodium, paladio, osmio, iridium and platinum. These metals are often together in proportions variables, and the platinum usually prevails, it is objective of this work to show the tendency as for the treatment and obtaining of the noble metals of the group platinoides, specifically the platinum obtaining. The analysis left of a study gathered in the information of patents demonstrating several procedures and different sources so they exist to extract the Pt fundamentally, as the obtaining of the metal of electronic scraps, of cromita minerals, in smaller grade of minerals of pleasures, the biggest tendency is to the employment of this metal in the production of catalysts.
