STUDY OF PRELIMINARY TENDENCY RELATED WITH THE ELABORATION OF PATENTS IN MINERALS LANTHANOID (STRANGE LANDS)

Abstract
The study shows a comparative analysis on applications of patents that process "strange lands" or lantánidos, to extract the metallic elements of great interest, for the electronic industry and the countries with reservations of these minerals. He/she took like reference the applications of patents found in the base data PATENTSCOPE. They are reflected the different sources of obtaining of the elements of the group lantánidos, the used sources are the electronic scraps and the extraction of the mineral, they are reflected the biggest world reservations and their distribution, the distribution of these patents for countries and for thematic. It was determined that the tendency of extraction of these elements lantánidos, with more relevance is, of the electronic Scrap, because it has the biggest number of applications of patents, with smaller incidence they are shown the behavior that has had the patents that apply a procedure hidrometalúrgico and of benefit of the mineral to extract the strange lands, being the lixiviation the most used one. It was demonstrated that China is the country that more he/she stands out in the reservation, production and patentamiento in this mineral type.
