STUDY AND TREND IN PHOSPHORITE MINERAL FOR FERTILIZER

Abstract
A study and trend analysis is done, in processing technologies phosphate rock in the formulation of fertilizer worldwide, information gathered and consulted from Internet, in sites of specialized databases patent, is performed. The study showed that in processing phosphate rock, the most widespread thematic registered as patents in ascending order are: Improved equipment grinding and classification of phosphorite, phosphorite Flotation, Chemical treatment of phosphorite with different acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, etc.) and phosphate rock in the formulation of fertilizer, the latter turned out to have the largest number of patent publications, with China being the country that public the most (51 patents), followed by Russia with 28 patents. Regarding global stocks and higher production of phosphate rock Morocco, China, the United States and Russia stood out. In the production of phosphatic fertilizer, globally they occupy second regarding nitrogen and potassium. The production capacity of phosphate rock in 2015 was approximately 220,000 thousand tons worldwide.
